The present invention relates to a multilayered electrochemical sensor to measure water-soluble bromate, capable of simply monitoring a change in concentration of bromate in a contaminated area. According to the present invention, an electrochemical sensor to measure the concentration of bromate by cyclic voltammetry comprises a working electrode, a reference electrode, and a relative electrode formed with screen printed carbon electrodes (SPCE). The working electrode is formed by stacking iron(III)-porphyrin (Fe(III)P) and poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) on the SPCE processed by functionalized multi-wall carbon nanotubes (fMWCNTS).
