Cloud system for high performance storage in virtualized environments and the management method thereof

A cloud storage system for improving storage performance of a virtual environment includes a storage server of a cloud environment connected through a network. The cloud storage system comprises: a first physical device for transmitting cache metadata when performing migration of a virtual device by monitoring a flash cache; and a second physical device for reconstructing a cache list by receiving the cache metadata from the first physical device. The present invention monitors a flash cache of each host server, transfers metadata information of a warmed-up flash cache to a new host server when virtual device migration occurs, and reconstructs a cold flash cache from the hottest cache block. Thus, a hot start can be achieved.
