Disclosed is a method for producing media content based on extraction of a 3D element in a 2D image and insertion of a 3D element. The method for producing media content based on insertion of a 3D element in a 2D image may comprise: a step in which a media content regeneration device replaces an existing object included in media content or determines an object to be added to the existing object; a step in which the media content regeneration device determines a location for adding or replacing the object on the media content; a step in which the media content regeneration device converts the object to a 3D object; a step in which the media content regeneration device determines an object shade and object shadow of the 3D object; a step in which the media content regeneration device converts the 3D object into a 2D object; a step in which the media content regeneration device adds setting information for adding or replacing the 2D object to the media content; and a step in which the media content regeneration device transmits the 2D object, the media content, and the setting information to a user device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
