The present invention relates to a method for measuring liquid limit of cohesive soil using penetration resistance of a small cone. When a small cone is statically penetrated into cohesive soil, penetration resistance is generated. By using the penetration resistance, an existing Casagrande testing method and a Fall cone testing method are compared to secure convenience of measurement and reduction in measurement time. In addition, by comparing with existing measurement methods, precision in measurement can be increased without being influenced by an experimenter or an experiment condition. By increasing reliability in material properties of cohesive soil ground, infrastructures of engineering structures and building structures installed on cohesive soil ground can be designed, constructed, and maintained with increased economic feasibility and safeness.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
