TRUST-BASED CACHE POLLUTION MITIGATION METHOD AND DEVICE THEREOF

Disclosed are a trust-based cache pollution mitigation method and a device thereof capable of improving network efficiency by relieving cache pollution based on trust in a network such as a content centric network (CCN). The cache pollution mitigation method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of calculating credibility for each of peers; a step of calculating a trusted value for particular content based on the calculated credibility for each of the peers associated with the particular content; and a step of determining whether to store the particular content in a cache based on the calculated trusted value. The step of calculating the trusted value for the particular content can calculate the trusted value for the particular content by using a negative feedback indicating an interest message. The interest message includes the average credibility for the peers who have transmitted the particular content, the popularity for the particular content, and an exclusion field for the particular content.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
