The present invention relates to a steel pipe truss and a construction method of a truss bridge using the same. A joint part is able to easily be treated when a steel pipe truss is produced, wherein excellent structural function is ensured, and a coupling angle of a slope material is able to be adjusted. The steel pipe truss of the present invention comprises: a lower chord member and an upper chord member respectively made of steel pipes; a gusset plate coupled in a longitudinal direction with a joint position of a bottom of the upper chord member and a top of the lower chord member; and a slope material coupled to be inclined with the gusset plate having both ends respectively coupled with the upper chord member and the lower chord member. A pair of insertion grooves are respectively cut and formed on both ends of the slope material to make the gusset plate inserted into the insertion grooves. The insertion grooves and the gusset plate are welded to be fixated. The both ends of the slope material are formed to have curvatures corresponding to the curvatures of the upper chord member and the lower chord member, and are welded to be fixated by being closely placed on the outer circumferential surfaces of the upper chord member and the lower chord member. A guide plate is closely coupled with any one or more of the lower chord member and the upper chord member to have a width which is the same as the inner diameter of the slope material have an adjustable angle, and to serve as a back piece which guides a coupling angle of the slope material by being inserted into an end of the slope material preventing leakage of a welding convex part to a welding root gap of the insertion grooves and the gusset plate.
