The present invention relates to a leakage current detection system for an overhead transmission and distribution line wherein the system capable of conveniently and accurately detect a leakage current flowing into an insulator of the overhead transmission and distribution line difficult for a person to approach and measure using an unmanned vehicle (for example, a drone); and analyzing the detected leakage current of the insulator to provide replacement information of the insulator to a user. According to the present invention, the leakage current detection system for the overhead transmission and distribution line comprises: a leakage current measuring device equipped with a current measuring device, performing flight and control in accordance with a remote control signal or an automatic follow-up signal, and moving to a position of an insulator installed in a power facility measuring the leakage current of the insulator and transmitting the measured leakage current through a network; and an insulator leakage current analyzer analyzing the leakage current measured by the leakage current measuring device and analyzing a leakage current status of the insulator and generating alarm information when the leakage current of the insulator is generated as a text message, and transmitting the text message to an administrator terminal carried by a manager.
