The present invention relates to a star-targeted fan-based cloud funding system and method. A specific star is appointed, and a part or all of show appearance fees of the star is paid through cloud funding using an investment method. After viewing accumulated fund amounts for each of multiple stars, a production company can cast an actor suitable for a character without having a burden of initial costs. A star can make a decision on participation after reviewing only quality of work and a character rather than appearance fees. Ultimately, the overall culture and arts industry can be promoted.
