The present invention relates to a method for controlling warm water and heating when an operation unit and a temperature adjuster of a boiler body are simultaneously operated. The method comprises the steps of: sequentially and continuously determining a warm water ON state or a heating ON state in a control unit in the body; displaying a warm water set temperature of a user on a display unit of an operation unit; continuously determining whether a warm water temperature setting switch installed on the operation unit is pressed by the user; determining whether there is currently a temperature adjuster connected to the boiler body; determining whether the corresponding temperature adjuster is in an automatic mode; and displaying the automatic mode for a predetermined period of time on the display unit of the operation unit on which heating and a warm water temperature are displayed irrespective of a change in a set temperature with respect to the warm water temperature, and returning to the step of displaying the warm water set temperature. A consumer can be prevented from being confused when a corresponding set warm water or heating temperature, which is to be changed through the operation unit of the body, is not changed. Also, marketability with respect to a product and reliability in accordance with an operation can be remarkably improved.
