The present invention relates to a foreign language learning service system using virtual reality and a method thereof. A service provision server in the foreign language learning service system using virtual reality according to the present invention comprises: a communication unit which is connected with at least one user terminal which a user wears to receive a foreign language learning service and a second user terminal used by a teacher through network; a simulation selection unit which receives a selection of a simulation situation to learn a situation among a plurality of simulation situations from the first user terminal; an image provision unit which reflects characters corresponding to the user and the teacher respectively on a virtual reality image corresponding to the selected simulation situation among virtual reality images according to the plurality of simulation situations stored in a database and provides the reflected results respectively for the first user terminal and the second user terminal; and a voice provision unit which receives voice from the first user terminal and transmits the received voice to the second user terminal. Like the above, the present invention can maximize learning effect at minimal cost by maximizing the degree of immersion by enabling a real-time conversation with a native speaker by presenting various situations which can be seen easily in real situation through terminal providing virtual reality.
