The present invention provides a nanoparticle-polymer fluorescent composite and a method of producing the nanoparticle-polymer fluorescent composite. An objective of the present invention is to provide a nanoparticle-polymer fluorescent composite which provides a change in basic chains of the polymer by providing a photothermal effect using a pulse laser to a composite of iron oxide nanoparticles and a polymer. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing magnetite (Fe_3O_4) nanoparticles; mixing the magnetite (Fe_3O_4) nanoparticles, an organic polymer which includes an aliphatic carbon chain, and a solvent which dissolves the organic polymer to prepare a precomposite, and drying the precomposite to form a nanoparticle composite; and making the nanoparticle composite irradiated with the pulse laser to change the magnetite (Fe_3O_4) nanoparticles into wustite nanoparticles and provide properties of a conjugated polymer to the organic polymer.
