The present invention provides a triphenylene containing benzo fused thiophene compound. The present invention also provides a triphenylene-containing benzo fused furan compound. The compounds of the present invention may be useful as an organic light emitting device, particularly as a host in the light emitting layer of the device, or as a material for the enhancement layer in the device, or both.
