The present invention relates to an aluminum alloy, and more specifically, relates to an anodizable aluminum alloy, which minimizes elements that adversely affect anodizing for realizing anodizing and improves its strength in a state where harmful elements are eliminated. The aluminum alloy for anodizing according to the present invention comprises: 5.0-6.0 wt% of zinc (Zn); 1.0-2.5 wt% of magnesium (Mg); 0.01-0.6 wt% of copper (Cu); 0.1-0.2 wt% of iron (Fe); and the remaining of aluminum (Al).
