The utility model relates to devices for testing and evaluating the wear resistance of whiskers from which fishing trawls are made and can be used in the production and evaluation of filamentary materials used in fisheries and in other industries. The installation comprises a housing, a drive, a movable platform mounted on the housing with the possibility of reciprocating horizontally, a device for wetting the threads to be tested, and also devices for securing the threads. The installation is additionally equipped with a counter of the executed cycles, limit switches, start and emergency stop buttons, the upper surface of the movable platform is equipped with replaceable abrasive strips. The device for wetting the test thread is made in the form of a dropper installed above the top surface of the platforms. The technical result: the creation of a universal plant for obtaining reliable data on the resistance to abrasive wear of fishing threadlike materials (for obtaining additional physical and mechanical parameters). 1 z.s. f-ly, 2 ill.
