FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tram groove rails rolling production. Method involves process workpiece cobbing in gage formed by two horizontal rollers and two vertical rollers, one of which is smooth, and other is split, and bottom and head tread area formation to form groove. Elimination of axial forces effect on horizontal rolls during rolling is ensured by that, formation of groove on head is performed in one pass by gauge made with inclination towards head at angle of 8° and with split vertical roll, which diameter is in 1.8 times less than smooth vertical roll diameter, wherein process workpiece cobbing is performed with drawings equality by all profile elements and with cobbing value by bottom outer surface of 4 mm. Finishing four-roll gage is formed by rolls with four support cones between them and is made inclined towards head at angle of 8°, wherein split vertical roll diameter in 1.8 times less than smooth vertical roll diameter.;EFFECT: disclosed is grooved tram rails rolling production method.;2 cl, 2 dwg
