METHOD OF EXTERNAL PREVENTIVE OBSTETRIC CEPHALIC VERSION OF FOETUS DURING SCREENING ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION IN THIRD TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to prenatal ultrasound diagnostics and obstetrics, and can be used in external preventive obstetric turning on head of foetus. During screening ultrasound examination in time of 32-34 weeks one performs correction of incorrect position of external rotation of foetus inside amniotic cavity under effect of doctor's hands through external abdominal wall and front wall of uterus of pregnant woman. It involves ultrasound examination in order to specify position of foetus before and after correction. External preventive cylinder rotation is performed on head of foetus located in front of transverse or oblique, or pelvic presentation at presenting part not inserted into cavity of lesser pelvis. To facilitate sliding at transmission gel for ultrasound analysis is used. One performs successive turns by 45 degrees. Open palm hand sliding advancing foetal back towards its head doctor smoothly directs foetus head downward along circle to inlet plane in small pelvis, second hand palm simultaneously holding pelvic end.;EFFECT: method provides reduced number of complications caused by obstetric turn due to using more sparing technique excluding need to grip pelvic end and head.;4 cl, 8 dwg
