FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to gas separators testing, enabling submersible oil pumps operation under conditions of increased gas content. Method of gas separators testing involves injection of liquid and gas into casing string model annular space, formation of working fluid in form of liquid-gas mixture, liquid-gas mixture separation using tested gas separator to degassed liquid and free gas. Output of degassed liquid is carried out via devices hydraulically connected with gas separator from casing string model. Separated free gas discharge is carried out via gas separator gas discharge holes, made in its upper part, into column annular space filled with working fluid. At that, controlling foaming properties and viscosity of working fluid circulating volume, determination of volumetric flow rates of liquid and gas at inlet to casing string model and separated gas volumetric flow rate at output of tested gas separator. According to determined data calculating gas content of working liquid, supplied into casing string model, residual gas content, as well as gas separator separation coefficient. Formation of working fluid is performed by means of testbed rotary disperser, which allows to control gas in working fluid degree of dispersion.;EFFECT: inventions are aimed at creation during tests of conditions, maximally close to real operation conditions in well, testing process simplification, reducing duration of their performance and obtaining reliable and accurate results.;2 cl, 1 dwg
