FIELD: geology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geological methods of search and survey of underground water deposits in the cryolite zone and can be used in the regions of Far North, Western and Eastern Siberia, North-East. Core: the method includes detection of promising sites, performing geophysical investigations by a multi-spacing plant of contactless measurement of the electric field, building a map of equal apparent resistances for various depths of the investigations, extraction and delineation of talik zones. Along the length of a talik zone a profile is planned for taking readings of contactless measurement of the electric field by the multi-spacing plant, a geoelectric section of apparent resistances is built. In typical points of the section pickets are determined for measurements of the vertical electrical sounding, as per the results of which built is a geoelectric section of apparent resistances and planned are sites in the anomalous zone for drilling exploration wells down to underground waters.;EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy of detecting underground water deposits in areas of continuous permafrost distribution, reduced time of works.;1 cl, 3 dwg
