According to invention, oxidation catalyst, capable of sulphur poisoning and therefore subject to timely desulfurization, is formed by NO-oxidation catalyst (5), having CO-oxidation activity, to which during desulfurization phase by means of internal combustion engine homogeneous compression ignition or by means of internal combustion engine partially homogeneous operating mode certain amount of carbon monoxide is supplied so, that temperature on desulfurized catalyst (5) is increased to certain NO-oxidation catalyst (5) desulfurization temperature, making possible NO-oxidation catalyst (5) desulfurization.
