FIELD: manufacturing technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insulating composite material for power transmission and distribution systems. Insulating composite material contains a continuous reinforcing fibre, embedded in a thermoset resin. Thermoset resin is a product of reaction of a curable composition based on epoxy resin containing (a) at least one epoxy resin based on bisphenol A, (b) at least one epoxy resin containing oxazolidone ring, and (c) at least one anhydride hardener. Curable composition based on epoxy resin is characterised by viscosity 6,000 MPa⋅s or less at 25 °C.
