FIELD: radar ranging.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar trajectory information processing devices and can be used for identification of aerial objects (AO) and determining the points of launch and fall in radar stations (RS) of scanning type. Technical result is achieved due to that determined is orientation of the vertical plane of launch in space. For this purpose found are parameters of the linear function of the target coordinates approximating projection onto the horizontal plane. Then within the found vertical plane of launch determined are parameters of the target altitude variation law, selected is approximation of either a ballistic curve considering the air resistance or of a parabola. Then calculated are values of error functions of the linear and ballistic or the parabolic approximations. Basing on the criterion of smallness of the error functions values the decision is taken on associating the target to the BT class. Performed is extrapolation of the built trajectory to the points of launch and fall for determining coordinates thereof.;EFFECT: achieved technical result of the invention is identification of ballistic targets (BT) class and locating coordinates of points of the BT launch and fall as per trajectory data obtained by scanning RS.;1 cl
