FIELD: measurement equipment.;SUBSTANCE: fatigue crack growth control is performed by simultaneously transmitting at least two signals in the form of a pulse of ultrasonic oscillations from sources located in one plane on a common platform, the signals formed of different frequency and are directed at different angles to the test object, and reception of signals produced by a device mounted on the second platform in the same plane as the sources of pulsed ultrasonic vibrations, with a platform in one plane on the outer side of the pipeline, measured propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the sample and calculate the geometric characteristics of fatigue cracks pipelines.;EFFECT: provision of measuring geometric characteristics of fatigue cracks and the depth of its occurrence on the surface of the sample pipeline without stopping the process.;1 dwg
