FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: rod construction element for erecting buildings and structures on ice formations of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation consists of several rods of identical and/or different profiles arranged close and/or at a distance from each other, which are interconnected and/or in the plane of one rod with plate elements by welded and/or riveted, and/or screw means, wherein the rod and/or the plate members may have perforations and/or openings of the same or different geometric shape. The plate elements may serve as an additional wall and be continuous and/or discontinuous along the rod length. The thickness of the plate elements may be the same and/or different. Wherein the rod element structure has the possibility to variate the mechanical characteristics by means of adding or removing the plate elements.;EFFECT: increasing the strength and performance characteristics of the rods, reducing torsion in the rods, increasing the carrying capacity, stiffness, resistance, reducing the weight, cost and material consumption for manufacturing the rod element, creating the possibility of varying the rod mechanical characteristics and its elements based on the design requirements within the standardization requirements in construction.;1 dwg
