METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF MEMBRANOUS CARTILAGINOUS REGION ATRESIA OF EXTERNAL AUDITORY CANAL

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method includes excision of the atretic tissue and the membranous cartilaginous region with formation of an external auditory canal wider than the normal canal anatomy by removing cartilage from one of its walls, cutting the concha skin over the atresia, wound surface lining with skin grafts. This enlarged canal of the external auditory canal is formed by further removal of all cartilage walls in the membranous cartilaginous region. Milling holes in the temporal bone and two skin flaps on a wide feeding base are formed, then the cartilage in the area of the concha bowl is excised and the formed skin flaps are reduced and fixed to the milling holes.;EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of restenosis with elimination of significant atresia due to reliable fixation of skin flaps in the external auditory canal wider than the normal anatomic canal.;5 dwg, 1 ex
