FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: deforming heat-strengthened rollers are made of 9XC, 9X type alloy steels of 58-65 HRC hardness. In this case, the working surfaces of the rollers are made of triangular and/or trapezoidal profile, and the mandrel has cylindrical shape with end sections of smaller diameter and stop flange of larger diameter. The working surfaces are coated with fluorine-based energy-modifying composition.
