The invention relates to a seeker head with roll pitch axis system for target tracking missiles. The seeker head includes a rolling frame rotatable about a roll axis; a pitch frame pivotable about a pitch axis perpendicular to the roll axis and a seeker located on the pitch frame. The invention is based on the object, in a seeker head of the type mentioned to allow large squint angle and make the seeker smaller, lighter and more mobile. This is achieved in that the pitch frame (30) of a about the roll axis (12) rotatable pitch drive motor (64) via a deflection gear (60) in the form of a bevel gear (50, 54) about the pitch axis (32) is rotatable.
