Known methods for controlling learning successes require, for example, rewriting words, a record of the words being examined for prosodic features and then compared to a pattern for these prosodic features. According to the invention, the learning control is carried out by detecting movements by means of a momentum sensor, which is swung to a predetermined or self-articulated sound sequence. The movement detected by the momentum sensor is associated with prosodic features of the sound sequence and the correspondence is evaluated.
