Magnetic resonance imaging method with simultaneous image acquisition of several partial volumes with a synchronous image acquisition by navigators

A method is described for triggering a magnetic resonance imaging system for generating magnetic resonance image data (BD) of an imaging area (FoV) of an examination subject (O), in which raw magnetic resonance data (RD) are acquired. In the method, preferably, different transverse magnetizations in at least a partial volume (NV) of a navigator volume (NV1, NV2) and at least a partial volume (BG) of an image volume (BV) are excited and used for position determination and imaging. In this case, these preferably different transverse magnetizations are present simultaneously at least in a time period of the measurement. Furthermore, a drive sequence (AS) will be described. In addition, a drive sequence determination system (22) will be described. Moreover, a magnetic resonance imaging system (1) will be described.
