The fish cage is characterized in that it stands vertically in the water and is thus used. The ballast chambers on the outer, upper, reinforced dome rim (A-12, B-3/1/12) allow the cage to float and lower. Corresponding sensors on the ship or supply buoy recognize the floating position of the cage or the need to keep the cage in a certain position.
