Provided is a system for providing electrical creep in a manual transmission vehicle. The vehicle includes an accelerator pedal, a brake pedal and an internal combustion engine, which in normal operation is the only power source. The electric creep providing system includes an electric motor for providing low-speed driving force to the vehicle, a control unit configured to turn off the engine when the electric creep function is activated; wherein the control unit is further configured to regulate the speed of the vehicle based solely on the amount of depression of the brake pedal; and wherein the control unit is further configured to override the electrical creep function upon activation of the accelerator pedal or the clutch pedal.
