Systems for the detection of physiological reactions based on thermal measurements of the face

This disclosure describes various systems for acquiring thermal measurements of regions of a user's face. Each system includes a rack configured to be worn on the user's head, and one or more lightweight thermal cameras connected to the rack and configured to provide ROI (thermal region of interest) measurements on the user's face to capture. Because of their connection to the rack, the one or more thermal cameras remain pointed at their respective ROIs when the user's head makes angular movements. The thermal measurements collected by some embodiments of the systems described herein may be used to detect different types of physiological responses, such as allergic reactions and stress.
