In transmissions of vehicles synchronization units are used to bring a shaft and a gear wheel to a same speed and rotatably to couple after this synchronization. It is an object of the present invention to propose a sliding sleeve with improved functional properties and a corresponding synchronization device or dog clutch with the sliding sleeve.
