A method for producing a composition for a porous, organic-inorganic hybrid material insulating coating, comprising the steps of: adding sepiolite nanoparticles surface-treated with silane or dimethyl ammonium chloride to a heat-resistant resin solution; and stirring the heat-resistant resin solution containing the sepiolite nanoparticles at 3600 rpm or more for 30 minutes or longer. The heat-resistant resin solution contains at least one heat-resistant resin selected from the group consisting of polyamide-imide, polyester, polyester-imide and polyamic acid.
