The invention relates to a rubber composition made of: at least one blend of natural rubber and synthetic polyisoprene, the natural rubber content being between 60 and 90 phr, that is, parts per hundred parts of elastomer, and the synthetic polyisoprene content being between 10 and 40 phr; and a reinforcing filler containing at least carbon black and an inorganic filler. The carbon black content makes up the majority of the reinforcing filler in terms of weight percentage.
