PROCESS FOR OBTAINING HIGHLY ANISOTROPIC SANDWICH STRUCTURES INTEGRATING MECHANICAL, THERMAL, AND SOUL FUNCTIONS AND SKINS OF STRUCTURES OBTAINED BY METALLURGIC GRADIENT OR COMPOSITE
The present invention relates to a method of manufacture of the sandwich structure including the functions of the mechanical and thermal, and multi materials obtained by metallurgical and variation of the percentages of the components of the alloys, or thermoplastic composites used. It makes it possible to obtain the skins and the core of the panel in a single operation and of a single piece, without any additional material as the metal or alloy or a thermoplastic composite, which comprises the structure. In addition, the mechanical functions as the inserts and the thermal functions as the heat pipes, are obtained in the same way, with most of the variations in the strength of the compounds of metal or composite used during the manufacture, in such a way that the finished product is a multiple functional, and multi materials. Thus, with respect to the usual technique of assembly by adhesive bonding of the constituents, the core, skins, inserts, heat pipes, the overall mechanical and thermal characteristics of the sandwich structure are greatly improved. Made locally, the variations in the proportions of the components of the alloys or thermoplastic composites used, increase the toughness, the resistance and the conductivity of the zones in question. The manufacturing method proposed is particularly adapted to the structures of systems and under - systems of satellites, to the structural parts of the aircraft and to the mast elements of a ship.
