It is this set of innovations that makes this concept can be summed up in: Houses adapted to the natural and human conditions specific to Reunion, (and more generally to tropical volcanic sites.) That's why we called it " SOLCOR Houses, because: SOLutions for the Construction on Reunion ... This is the title of the invention, summarized by points 1 and 2 of the claims. The aim was to find a set of solutions that could both solve the problems posed by future tropical cyclones, in their constraints due to wind speed and precipitation, constraints that will grow significantly in the near future. And it is the brickwork / oval-shaped roofing couples on the one hand, associated with the specific system of adaptation to soils drilled wells and piles linked to compact basalt by a continuous reinforcement, which have made it possible to find reliable solutions to these problems. primordial problems. It was a question of adapting the houses of the future, at the same time to the climate, the local customs and the evolution of the way of life resulting from modern technologies.
