Assembly consisting of a handle (3) and its removable wrist strap for ski or walking stick, the handle (3) comprising a longitudinal axis component body formed of a substantially cylindrical wall and a longitudinal central housing in which is arranged a sliding assembly along the longitudinal axis, to take two positions, namely a high locking position and a low position of release of the removable strap, the removable strap being attached to the sliding assembly by fastening means arranged in the locking position, along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis, said sliding assembly being biased towards the locking high position by displacement means, while the moving means are constituted by a pair of magnets, namely, a first magnet arranged at the substantially cylindrical wall of the workpiece body of the handle (3), and a second magnet located on the assembly e sliding.
