The present invention relates to a safety device for sealed pellet stoves which have an air inlet (a) in their backs. The purpose of this device is to counter the consequences of explosion risks induced by the storage of explosive gas in the home when starting the device according to the principle of installation of a discharge valve of said gas which will be placed at the air inlet of the stove. The device is characterized by a T-shaped duct (diagrams 1 and 2) with three openings located at the rear of the air inlet (a), the first opening (c) nests on the inlet of air (a), the second opening (d) is placed opposite the first opening and receives an airtight cover (e), the third opening (f) placed vertically receives the supply duct (e) outside air (g).
