A METHOD FOR DUPLICATING DATA FROM A SECURE MICROCIRCUIT TO ANOTHER SECURE MICROCIRCUIT SO AT LEAST ONE SECURE MICROCIRCUIT SECURE TO BE OPERATIONAL TO A GIVEN TIME
A method for copying or saving the data contained in a first secure microcircuit (MCA) to another secure microcircuit (MCB) with, at any time, at most, one and only one secure microcircuit that can be operational at a given time. The method makes it possible to carry out: either a copy of the data of the original microcircuit in another secure microcircuit (MCB) and then, in synchronous mode, to switch to a non-operational state of the original microcircuit and then with a transition to the operational state of this other secure microcircuit. - A backup of the original microcircuit data in one or more other secure microcircuits (MCB), then later, in asynchronous mode, to make the transition to the non-operational state of the original microcircuit and the transition to the operational state of one of these other secure microcircuits. The method requires the presence of a trusted migration server (SM) for each of the secure microcircuits, knowing that it can be the same for the secure microcircuit source of the data and the recipient of the data.
