The present invention relates to a composite seal for an opening or moving part of an aircraft of the type comprising a hollow portion capable of elastically deforming and a fastening portion, said seal being formed of a textile which has a first face covered with a layer of at least one elastomer and a second face not covered with an elastomer and forming the outer surface of said seal. According to the invention, typically at least at said second face, the fiber or fibers forming the son or son of said textile are at least partially covered with at least one water-repellent polymer.
