The device has an evaporator including two plate segments that are connected to a bending line in a single-piece manner. Another evaporator includes a plate segment (8) with an edge that is separated from the former evaporator by a gap. The evaporators are connected by a corrugated strip that bridges the gap. A refrigerant pipe (3) is connected to the former evaporator, where the refrigerant pipe runs along an edge of the latter evaporator and runs at a height of the gap in a corrugated manner. A course of the refrigerant pipe at the height of the gap is parallel to a material strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an evaporator arrangement.
