A method is disclosed for the data model description in large-scale information exchange and processing. The description method of a data file includes the following steps: defining basic information of the data file with a system declaration part; recording various data needed to be recorded by the data file with the data block part. The large-scale information exchange and processing based on the data file description method includes the following steps: dividing data into a plurality of data blocks, describing the plurality of data blocks as data file by using the data file description method, and storing the data file in a storage unit A; obtaining ,by the transmitter, the data file to be exchanged from the storage unit A, and sending the data file to a receiver via a network; storing, by the receiver, the data file sent by the transmitter in a storage unit B upon reception of the data file; andreading, by the processor, the data file from the storage unit B, and processing the data file. The data model description method in the present invention forms a special style with combining the electric device object-oriented method and the traditional relation-oriented method.
