Electric tool with a contactless torque measurement device and method for measuring the torque of an electric tool

The electric tool has a torque measuring device (30) and a motor that is accommodated in a housing. A motor shaft drives a drive shaft for driving the tool. Two coils (44, 46) are inductively connected with each other for bidirectionally transmitting energy to supply energy to a torque sensor (52) and to transmit an output signal of the torque sensor to one of the coils and to evaluate the output signal to generate a torque output signal. The coil is stationarly retained and the other coil is retained at the motor shaft or at the drive shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring torque of an electric tool.
