The method involves selecting a neighbor control instruction (E0) from predefined control instructions transmitted by a controlling device, and displaying the control instruction selected by the controlling device (E1). The selected control instruction is modified (E3) according to a user's choice. Modification of the control instruction is performed by processing the control instructions to be transmitted in a sequential manner. The selected control instruction is validated and sent (E4). An independent claim is also included for a home-automation equipment controlling device.
