The choke has a lateral branch (1) separated from a top part (4) by a first air gap (e1) and from a bottom part (5) by a second air gap (e10). Another lateral branch (3) is separated from the top part by a third air gap (e3) and from the bottom part by a fourth air gap (e30). A central branch (2) is separated from the top part by a fifth air gap (e2) and from the bottom part by a sixth air gap (e20). Two coils (b1) include equal inductance values. The branches are manufactured by stacking magnetic plates and machining or casting magnetic material. An independent claim is also included for a power converter.
