DEVICE FOR THE CONTINUOUS VARIATION OF THE STEERING ANGLE IN A MOTORCYCLE OR SIMILAR

A classic steering group in a motorcycle or similar includes a steering pin which can rotate freely inside a steering tube integral with a frame. This pin is generally connected to a handlebar where the main controls available for the pilot are housed and, through an upper plate or steering head and a lower plate or steering base, to a suspension system to which the front wheel and the braking system are associated. The device object of the present invention relates to an improved steering group which allows to continuously vary the inclination of the steering pin axis. This device is made so as to include, in addition to the components just described, some containment means of the steering pin which, in the adjustment phase only, can move inside the steering tube so as to continuously assume infinite working positions, corresponding to as many inclinations of the axis of the steering pin. The adjustment is obtained through a succession of single rotations or combinations of rotations of these bodies, around axes such that, when each individual rotation or their combination is carried out, they are not parallel with respect to the axis of the steering pin. Moreover, locking systems of the containment bodies just mentioned in the desired work positions and of the measurement systems of the carried out rotations are provided.
