The invention concerns an impedance spectroscopy device for early diagnosis of coronary artery disease. The present invention provides the diagnosis of endothelium functionality of brachial or radial artery and hence of the coronary network due to their similarity. It is based on the natural function of reactive vasodilation after ischemic cuff of the forearm and consequent hyperemia caused by the arterial endothelium. Applying advanced signal processing algorithms it is possible to correlate the measured impedance characteristics with the function of endothelium and hence of the coronary artery disease. The present invention is advantageous for the diagnosis artery disease with respect to the conventional ultrasound device in terms of better sensitivity, lower cost, portability and operation without advanced skills. In addition, this invention relates to a method in particular to carry out said device.
