The present invention thus provides formulations and precursor compositions that can be used for wind turbine leading edge protection. More particularly, two types of formulations and precursor compositions are disclosed:Formulation type A: a formulation comprising a crosslinked polycondensate (A) and optionally one or more additive(s); wherein the polycondensate (A) contains repeating units derived from at least: a dicarboxylic acid (a); a diol (b); and an ethylenically unsaturated diacid (c); wherein the formulation is cured via ethylenically unsaturated diacid (c). The precursor composition to formulation of type A is a composition that can be cured to yield formulation type A.;Formulation type B: a crosslinked polycondensate (B) and optionally one or more additive(s); wherein the polycondensate (B) contains repeating units derived from at least: a dicarboxylic acid (a") and a diol (b"); wherein the formulation is cured via polycondensate (B) chemical end groups and a cross-linking agent. The precursor composition to formulation of type B is a composition that can be cured to yield formulation type B.;The present invention furthermore provides films and sheets, which contain or consist of formulations of type A or B. The present invention also provides various uses of the formulations of the present invention on wind turbine blade leading edges as described hereinbelow.
