The invention relates to a method for improving the capacity utilization of a low-voltage network (1, 2) using a communications network (13) between components of the low-voltage network, - controlled components (4, 6-11) recurrently generating and supplying load predictions to a central computer (12), - said central computer (12) producing a network condition prognosis from these load predictions and forwarding it to the controlled components (4, 6-11), and - the controlled components (4, 6-11) changing their load profile based on the network condition prognosis.
