PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original position testing device which can accurately measure a groundwater level and can surely collect a soil sample at a desired position with a simple constitution.;SOLUTION: An original position testing device 4 for measuring a groundwater level and collecting a soil sample includes: an inner pipe 1 in which a water passage hole 11 is formed with a gap in a circumferential direction and an axial direction; and an intermediate pipe 2 which is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the inner pipe and has a plurality of side openings 21 provided at a position capable of overlapping the water passage hole.
